Nearly all forms of exercise can reduce stress including gardening. It helps to lighten mood and lower levels of stress and anxiety. It’s very gratifying to plant, tend,harvest and share your own food.

Gardening routines, like watering and weeding, can create a soothing rhythm to ease stress.

CONSIDER PLANTING COOL-SEASON CROPS SUCH AS LETTUCE, SPINACH, AND CARROTS THAT CAN WITHSTAND COOLER TEMPERATURES.

WHAT WE OFFER:

Vegetable and herb gardening: Create a small vegetable or herb garden to grow your own fresh produce. Choose vegetables and herbs that are suitable for the mountain climate and can thrive in the available sunlight.
